Claimants can now go online for matters that had previously required them to call and talk with a claims agent. 

 

§         PIN reset 

§         Cancel unemployment claim

§         Address change

§         Online filing for Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC). EUC is a Federal unemployment insurance benefit. Colorado may trigger onto a second tier of this benefit next Friday, March 27. Claimants DO NOT need to call and speak to a claims agent and if they are eligible they will be notified.

4                Dedicated phone line for filing a new claim

 

A new phone line has been set up to handle only new claim filing. The average wait time for filing an initial claim by phone this week was only 12 minutes.

 

To file a new claim, call 303-318-9123 (or toll free 1-866-422-0401). 

 

The phone line 303-318-9000 (toll free 1-888-550-2800) is reserved exclusively for claimants who need to ask a question or resolve an issue with their claim.

March 27 – (9 AM)  February unemployment rate will be released at 9 AM.

March 27 – (Afternoon)  Federal notification if Colorado is to receive Emergency Unemployment Compensation.
