Do you need help writing a résumé or
preparing for an interview? Maybe you just need help finding a
summer job. If you're between the ages of 16 and 21, the
Governor's Summer Job Hunt Program can help.
The Governor’s Summer Job Hunt is a vital link between classroom learning and
actual on-the-job experience that matches young people’s skills and interests
with employment opportunities.
Economic circumstances are not a consideration for program
registrants. Proof of age and citizenship are required. This is a free
referral service to youth and employers. Other employment and
educational opportunities may be available for
More than 260,000 young people have found summer
employment since the program began in 1981. The program serves as a national model, receiving Presidential Awards in 1983 and 1993, and has been replicated
in several cities across the United States.

Registered
Youth can register with the Governor's Summer Job Hunt Program by visiting their
local Colorado Workforce Center or by
registering online. Although registering online is fast and easy, we
recommend youth visit their local Workforce Center to receive on-one-one
employment counseling.
