> Be yourself. Be honest.
> Listen carefully to what the interviewer is saying.
> Speak clearly and use proper grammar.
> Talk about the skills you have developed that will
benefit the employer.
> At the end of the interview, shake hands and thank the interviewer(s).
> Do be prepared to ask the interviewer questions about
the position.

Don't…
> Wear clothing with words or logos on it.
> Wear a hat, jeans that are too
tight/baggy, or shorts.
> Cross your legs, fold your arms, or touch
your face during the interview. Body
language
signals could indicate a negative attitude, boredom or doubt.
> Speak about a former employer in negative terms.
> Loose your cool.
If it makes you feel more comfortable, tell the
interviewer you are
nervous. It can help to break the ice.
> Smoke or chew gum.
> Wear excessive jewelry, including rings/bars in your tongue, eyebrow,
nose and/or lip.
> Ask about salary, vacations, or promotions until after you receive a job
offer.
